Once you have done all that you should have a working version of Adobe Acrobat. Then goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AdobeGClient\Adobe Client.exe find that file and goto properties and then Advanced Security Settings and remove the inhereted permissions and remove the ability to run the file. Patch it using Painter patch as a 32bit and point it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat\atmlib.dll Reboot your computer and reinstall Adobe Acrobat using the m0nkrus distribution. Also download Adobe CCleaner it's a program that will remove all of the leftover things Adobe installs. Uninstall Adobe Acrobat then delete the folders that m0nkrus mentions in the nfo file. He does Windows installations of Adobe products. Okay first things first get the distribution from m0nkrus. I am not able to open any PDF directly either. To be specific when I launch acrobat I get the sign in prompt and closing it also closes acrobat. The version is Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2020 windows continuous release v2020.009.20067. Even then I am not able to activate acrobat. I tried uninstalling, deleting all the left over files, including those in appdata, restarting the PC and reinstalling from the offline installer from helpx. I tried to activate it using painter patcher but it failed.
